Hope Load is a multifaceted installation which includes video, meticulously crafted sets and a live score performed by a band formed specifically for this project. Feminist Conference (J.R. Uretsky, Rachel Blumberg and Emily Dix Thomas) will perform two songs written to accompany new videos by Uretsky. Like her other works,  Hope Load, mines the artist’s personal life to confront viewers with expressive confessions that test the bounds of comfort, personal space, and acceptable presence.
